This policy explains how Pelagos Cafe of Naples, Inc., a Florida corporation, doing business as Pelagos Cafe (“we”, “us”), handles personal information in connection with pelagoscafe.com (the “site”).

What the site collects

The site has no forms, no accounts, no online ordering and no newsletter sign-up. We do not use analytics, advertising pixels or tracking cookies.

• Server logs. Our host, Netlify, automatically processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, so the site can be delivered and protected. See Netlify’s privacy policy.
• Web fonts. Our typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address. Google Fonts does not set cookies. See Google’s privacy policy.
• Accessibility preferences. If you change settings in the accessibility tool on this site, those choices are saved in your own browser so they persist between pages. They are not sent to us.

When you contact us

The website itself collects nothing from you. We collect only what you choose to give us by phone, by email or in person, for example when you place a takeout order, make a reservation or arrange catering: your name, phone number, email address, order or event details and any dietary or allergy information. We use it only to answer you and fulfil your request. Payment is always taken in person at the restaurant; no payment details are collected through this site.

How we share information

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with service providers who help us run the restaurant (for example, our email provider and card payment processor), when required by law, or to protect our rights and our guests.

Links to other sites

The site links to services we do not control, such as Google Maps for directions and review sites. Their own privacy policies apply once you leave our site.

Retention and security

We keep messages, order and catering details only as long as needed for the purpose they were given and for our ordinary business and tax records. The site is served only over encrypted HTTPS.

Children

The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your choices

You may ask us what information we hold about you from your calls or emails, or ask us to correct or delete it, using the contact details below.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
